September 2009
Honey, we're HOME!

Teade and Tasso arrived home safe and sound after their worldwind week at the Hampton Classic! We are letting them relax and be horses for the next week. They behaved like gentleman and really enjoyed all the scratching, hugs and kisses they got all week.

Thanks

I want to thank everyone that was able to come visit and watch the demos. Those of you that were unable to attend, there is always NEXT year!
If you had signed up for information on lessons, clinics or just wanted to come visit, please feel free to email me with any questions you might have.

I will be working on the new winter lesson schedule next week. Please let me know if there will be any changes.
New lessons will begin Sunday Sept. 13th. Signup early for the best times.

I will be posting photos and videos on the website in the next week or so. If you have any good photos of Teade and Tasso from the show that you wish to share, send them to me and I will post them on the site.

I want to give a special thanks to all of you that helped out all week:
Lynne, thanks for sharing Tasso with the world.
Joanne and Jessica for slaving all week
Michele
Sue
Marie/Christa
Karen
David for letting me play with the Gypsy mare and bringing home my roundpen.
And anyone that I may have forgotten.
Thank you all for making the week great!

Well, take a look at our new home!  "Highwind Farms" in Mattituck.
Yes, Long Island Riding Lessons has a big, beautiful new place!
You have to come see the 60 acres of peace and quiet!  (yes, 60!) A heated lounge with a viewing window. A big indoor arena, ( with music..) 2 outside rings and 60 acres of flat ridable land! Trails are located next to a large pond. ....and...the beach is right around the corner. Nothing like a summer lunch on the sand.
The owners Tom and Sue have been very, very nice in making us feel right at home.
"We ain't in Kansas anymore!"
All the boys and Ginger are with us. Plus, Highwind has a school horse line with all different horses and ponies.
The stable itself is clean and the aisles are wide.
More pictures of our new home will be up on the website soon.
